PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for a case for an ultrasonic transducer capable of enhancing a yield and productivity in assembling of the ultrasonic transducer, and long term reliability thereof, by realizing the case having a flat top case panel and prevented from being stress-corrosion-cracked, and to provide the ultrasonic transducer and an ultrasonic flowmeter of high performance, high safety and long period reliability, by using the cylindrical metal case having the top panel.;SOLUTION: The top panel of the case cut or integrally press-molded is heat-treated under the condition where it is pressurized in a proper area by a pressurizing jig. A heat treating temperature is within a range of 150-300C, the treatment is carried out within 60 minutes, and a cooling speed is 1.0C/min or less.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
