PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a user to easily input information necessary for obtaining a function to process information necessary for a merchandise purchasing procedure to deliver merchandise to a designated delivery destination on a merchandise purchasing system by using a personally available means.;SOLUTION: Merchandise purchase request data are transmitted to a fare adjusting unit 300 by using a portable terminal such as a portable telephone set 100. Supposing that the portable terminal is provided with a telephone book in which the information of a user, persons concerned with the user or transaction destination is already stored, the data are fetched as sender and receiver's address information according to the operation of the portable terminal, and the bar code or IC tag of merchandise 200 is read as merchandise information, and inputted to the portable terminal, and transmitted to the fare adjusting unit as information necessary for the purchase procedure. The fare adjusting unit executes order reception/fare adjustment processing, and decides the fare adjustment, and transmits decided fare adjustment information to a center 400 in order to achieve the delivery processing of merchandise.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
