PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a defense practice system capable of forming various kinds of hitting balls necessary for a defense practice with good reproducibility without an expert coach.;SOLUTION: The defense practice system includes a hitting device 1 for hitting a ball by swinging a bat B about a vertical or slantwise inclined axis, a ball supply means 40 for supplying the ball R to a prescribed position and a control means 9 for controlling the operations of the hitting device 1 and the ball supply means 40. The control means 9 controls the position of the ball R in a horizontal plane and the position of the ball R in the direction of height relative to the bat B when the bat B hits the ball R.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
