PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clay desiccant packaging base material which is constituted of a biodegradable material and excellent in interlaminar heat-sealing properties, a clay desiccant package constituted of the base material and a clay desiccant housing body enabling soil discard of the clay desiccant and the housing body after the use without separating them. PSOLUTION: The base material 1 for packaging the clay desiccant is constituted of a layer (A) of the biodegradable material and a layer (B) of a biodegradable resin.
