COOLING STAVE, AND BLAST FURNACE BODY STRUCTURE WITH THE USE OF THE COOLING STAVE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling stave that prevents cracks of a steel shell from occurring due to the blast furnace gas which flows into the gaps in the joint parts of the cooling stave as much as possible, and to provide a blast furnace body structure with the use of the cooling stave.;SOLUTION: This cooling stave has a stave body 1 having the transverse side 1b set longer than the longitudinal side 1a, and has circulating water flow paths 3a along both edges of the longitudinal side 1a arranged inside the stave body 1. In addition, the stave body 1 has such a structure as to be bent along the arc of the blast furnace body. Furthermore, the blast furnace body is constituted by the cooling staves distributed into a zigzag form in the longitudinal direction of the furnace body.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
