PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for estimating the effectiveness of a presentation.;SOLUTION: Participants are classified into a plurality of understanding-level classes according to the results of understanding level checking tests (scoring machine 106, understanding level calculator 107, understanding level discriminator 108, and ability-based participant classifier 109). The average level of understanding of each understanding-level class and the average level of satisfaction of each understanding-level class based on the results of a questionnaire about levels of satisfaction are calculated. The characteristics of understanding and satisfaction levels as to the presentation are calculated on the basis of the average satisfaction level and average understanding level of each understanding-level class (questionnaire totalizer 110).
