PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the generation of the peeling of a lamina and the crack of a base metal, to eliminate the need for the injection of a synthetic-resin adhesive after the completion of works and to prevent the lowering of a strength and a fear on a preservation from a decay.;SOLUTION: A bolt 5 is inserted to an arch rib 2 in the vicinity of the supporting point of a wooden arch bridge, where a complicate synthetic stress is generated, in the direction orthogonal to a laminated lamina, and bearing plates 6 and 6 installed at both ends of the bolt are pushed by nuts 7 and a prestress is introduced. When a glued laminated wood having a width of 180 mm and a height of 500 mm is used as the arch rib 2, compressive force is introduced by using two of the bearing plates 6 having one side of 170 mm and a thickness of approximately 22 mm and the bolt having a diameter of 16 mm.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
