PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an effective wall quantity calculation method of a bearing wall with opening capable of easily designing the efficient bearing wall considering a hanging wall or a spandrel wall by using a computer without requiring the knowledge of a structure calculation of a high level or a complicated calculation method.;SOLUTION: The effective wall quantity calculation method for calculating the effective wall quantity of the bearing wall 10 with opening 10 having a waist-height window opening 11 or a window opening 12 for sweeping is so constituted that the designed bearing 10 wall with opening is divided by a divided line 14 in the vertical direction including an opening divided line 13 extended in the vertical direction from centers of the openings 11 and 12, a plurality of obtained divided bearing walls 15a to 15f are fitted to predetermined specific divided wall patterns, and at the same time, a coefficient to the wall quantity of part of a wall without opening predetermined for each divided wall pattern is multiplied to obtain the wall quantity of each of the divided bearing walls 15a to 15f and that the effective wall quantity of the whole bearing wall 10 with opening is calculated by adding together with them.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
