PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve temperature drift of a beam landing of a color cathode-ray tube, and to optimize mounting of a support spring to an inclined elasticity giving member of a color selection mechanism.;SOLUTION: The color selection mechanism comprises the elasticity giving member having a pair of support members and a pair of flat plate materials. The elasticity giving member has the plate surfaces opposing to each other and a frame arranged so that the surface is inclined by a predetermined degree with respect to the support member. A color selection mask is spanned across the pair of support members. The inclined surface portion 103 of the spring holder 101 formed of a flat plate material is abutted and bonded to the inclined surface 100 of the elasticity giving member 44, 45 (87, 88).
