PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a community-cooperative crime prevention and disaster prevention system that supports crime prevention and disaster prevention among neighbors.;SOLUTION: The community-cooperative crime prevention and disaster prevention system typically has crime prevention and disaster prevention sensors installed in a building, a residential server for receiving signals from the crime prevention and disaster prevention sensors, a central server connected to the residential server via communication means, and message transmitting and receiving means connecting the central server and subscribers. The residential server transmits abnormality information to the central server in dependence on the signals from the crime prevention and disaster prevention sensors, and the central server specifies a plurality of subscribers neighboring the building that has transmitted the abnormality information, and transmits a message to the plurality of specified subscribers.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
