SOFTWARE FOR SECONDARY-STRUCTURE-STABILIZED DESIGN OF PROTEIN

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem wherein a conventional technique takes a huge amount of time and cost to prepare a three-dimensional structurally stabilized protein owing to a trial-and-error approach. PSOLUTION: The use of this software enables searching of an unstable region of a secondary structure constituting a protein and presenting an amino acid residue that stabilizes the secondary structure. The time and cost necessary to prepare a three-dimensional structurally stabilized protein can be thus substantially reduced. PCOPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
