PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a prophylactic or a therapeutic agent for liver disorders, which is highly safe and is daily taken by oral administration, a liver function enhancer, a food, a food additive, an animal feed and an additive for an animal feed. PSOLUTION: The prophylactic or therapeutic agent for liver disorder and the liver function enhancer comprise each a plant of the genus Eucalyptus or an extract extracted from the plant of the genus Eucalyptus. The food for controlling, ameliorating and preventing liver disorders, the food additive, the animal feed and the additive for the animal feed comprise each the plant of the genus Eucalyptus or the extract extracted from the plant of the genus Eucalyptus.
