PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the analysis display method of a structured document stored in a structured document database and a structured document analysis display unit using the method.;SOLUTION: This structured document analysis display unit is provided with a means for setting analysis conditions for a structured document stored in a structured document database corresponding to a plurality of analysis axes, a means for generating hierarchical information for analysis, a means for retrieving a structured document from the structured document database based on the analysis conditions and hierarchical information for analysis, a means for executing summarization to the retrieval results and a means for displaying the summarized result.
