PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To show various courses fit for an actual situation for enlarging a selection range of a course, when supporting a selection of the course via a network. PSOLUTION: This course selection support system supporting the selection of the course via the network 30 has: a user terminal 10 specifying an occupation; a course selection support device 20 storing a plurality of pieces of career example information about persons already occupied in various occupations, retrieving the career example information about the person already occupied in the specified occupation on the basis of occupation specification information received from the user terminal 10, and transmitting a retrieval result thereof to the user terminal 10; and the network 30 connecting a course selection support device 20 and the plurality of user terminals 10.
