PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image feature information generation method, image feature information generation device and image feature information generation program capable of generating image feature information for only coarse features extracted from image data so that a retrieving person can easily retrieve desired image data.;SOLUTION: In this image feature information generation device 1, a scene division means 2 divides the image data, a frame image sampling means 3 samples a frame image from the scenes at fixed intervals, and a node tracking means 5 tracks the vicinity image area of the node of a top frame set by a node initial setting means 4.
