PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanism control system designing method, a mechanism control system designing system, a program for the mechanism control system designing method, and a recording medium recording the program for setting design parameters and efficiently designing a mechanism control system satisfying design specifications.;SOLUTION: In the mechanism control system designing method, responsiveness of a whole comprising a mechanism system and a control system is calculated on the basis of a result of analyzing a mechanism model modeling the mechanism system and a control model modeling the control system by at least one analyzing means. It has steps (steps S101 to S102) of writing an equation of state of behavior of the mechanism system to each analyzing means from the mechanism model, steps (steps S103 to S104) of outputting the responsiveness of the whole system to each analyzing means from the control model, and concurrent optimum design steps (steps S105 to S106) of concurrently and optimally designing design parameters of the mechanism system and the control system so as to satisfy a preset objective function.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
