PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a product whose warranty can be taken out in arbitrary timing, the package of a product, a method for preparing and registering the warranty of the product and a system for preparing and registering the warranty. PSOLUTION: The method for preparing and registering the warranty of the product 10 comprises: a reader 24 storing access information for accessing a warranty preparation server 20 preparing and registering the warranty of the product 10 and reading the access information stored in a memory 12 installed on the product 10, itself, or on the package 14 of the product 10; a warranty preparation server 20 encouraging the input of the warranty preparation information by transmitting input request information for preparing the warranty with respect to a cellular telephone 22 when the cellular telephone 22 accesses the warranty preparation server 20 in accordance with access information read by the reader 24; and a warranty data base 26 preparing and registering the warranty of the product 10 based on the warranty preparation information input by the cellular telephone 22 in accordance with the input request information transmitted from the warranty preparation server 20.
