PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat treatment apparatus for fresh tea leaves by making an installation area of a secondary heat treatment machine almost equal to that of a cooling apparatus for steamed tea leaves previously set on a tea leaf steamer and giving the machine cooling function and heating function so as to substitute for the cooling apparatus.;SOLUTION: This heat treatment apparatus is so designed that a heating drum is attached to the central line of a net drum of the cooling apparatus of a rotating net drum shape usually set on the tea leaf steamer so as to throw steamed tea leaves also into the heat drum and jet high-humidity heated air into the drum.
