PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To order tickets by allowing both sides to directly transmit/receive data without using any telephone network or the like and saving any troublesome labor such as cable connection.;SOLUTION: A portable information terminal 1 transmits/receives ticket ordering information, personal information, settlement information, credit information, present application information or the like with a ticket issuing machine 2 via radio communication. A ticket issuing machine 2 transmits the ticket ordering information, personal information, settlement information, and present application information or the like received from the portable information terminal 1 via radio communication through a network 20 to a ticket issue managing server 10 to make a request for personal information authentication. Then, the ticket issuing machine 2 accepts a settlement application from the portable information terminal 1 in response to an authentication result from the ticket issue managing server 10. When receiving the notice of settlement completion and ticket electronic data from the ticket tissue managing server 10, the ticket issuing machine 2 transmits the ticket electronic data with the notice of settlement completion to the portable information terminal 1.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
