SOLUTION: A jig 38 for detecting foot floating consists of a rotary shaft 40 fitted on a Z-axis unit 36 of an X-Y unit 34, a supporting plate 42 with a curved surface fixed on the shaft 40, a laser generator 44 on one surface thereof, and first and second radiation temperature sensors 46 and 48. The first sensor 46 detects one temperature from the lead or pattern of the part, and a laser output adjuster 60 receives an input signal from the sensor 46 and adjusts the temperature of the lead or pattern not to exceed a specified value. Then the laser generator 44 directs a laser to the lead or pattern. The second sensor 48 receives an infrared ray radiating from the pattern or lead so as to detect the other temperature of the pattern or lead, and it is judged whether or not the increased value of the detected temperature is lower than a threshold a specified time later after the generation of laser.
