PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a siliceous porous body, a siliceous powder and a manufacturing method therefor capable of enhancing a contaminant substance-removal ability of a porous body and maintaining this contaminant substance-removal ability for a long period of time.;SOLUTION: The siliceous porous body containing silicon having a semiconductor characteristic and metal silicon is provided. The siliceous porous body can contain 5-60 mass% of granular silicon having a semiconductor characteristic and 40-95 mass% of granular metal silicon.
