Using a radiation sensitivity enhancer containing as an active ingredient a nucleic acid having the nucleotide sequence of SEQ ID NO: 1 or SEQ ID NO: 3 or a protein having the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO: 2 or SEQ ID NO: 4 in the sequence listing, It enhances the radiosensitivity of tumor cells, and this sensitizing effect makes radiotherapy effective against radioresistant tumors or malignant tumors with reduced radiosensitivity.
