PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide possibility of setting off the information transmitting distance long and reading the information touchlessly, and to heighten the reliability in terms of security. ;SOLUTION: Terminal No., ID No., and pass No. are transmitted from a portable telephone set 3. An access control device 4 receives these Nos. from the portable telephone set 3 and passes judgement whether they are identical to the ones registered previously, and if yes, gives an unlock signal to an electric lock 6 to unlock the door. Thus the unlocking control can be performed without possessing an apropriate card. The use of portable telephone set 3 can prolong the information transmitting distance much more than in case a card is used. Transmitting the ID No. and pass No. in addition to the terminal No. can heighten the reliability in terms of security.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
