PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized reproducing apparatus capable of practically reproducing an animated picture and an animated picture reproducing system or the like.;SOLUTION: While the animation picture reproducing apparatus downloads the animation picture transmission data 20 including a plurality of source data such as animated picture data, text data, and numerical information from a server, the animated picture reproducing apparatus repetitively reproduces short animation on the basis of the animation picture data stored in a short animation cache 17 to allow a user to reduce the waiting time in a body feeling way. Further, a decoder section 13 and a rendering section 15 respectively deploy a plurality of downloaded resource data into a plurality of still pictures, which a memory section 12 and a buffer section 14 store.
