PURPOSE: To control an irregular-shaped product by providing a storage shelf for an irregular-shaped product which is traversely arranged relative to an arm projecting in a traverse direction of an up-and-down member, the arm having a loading surface thereof, and by moving the top of the arm up and down relative to the up-and-down member. ;CONSTITUTION: Products of the same length are rolled on the loading surface and loaded on an arm 12 and the arm 12 is moved up and down and positioned by up-and- down moving units 7, 10, 11 to a predetermined storage shaft 17 for storing an irregular-shaped product. The top of the arm 12 is declined downward to roll the product on the arm 12 and to load it on the predetermined storage shelf 17 for storing an irregular-shaped product. When the product on the storage shelf 17 for storing an irregular-shaped product is unloaded, the arm 12 is moved up and down and positioned by the up-and-down moving units 7, 10, 11 to the storage shelf 17 for storing an irregular-shaped product and the top of the arm 12 is declined upward to roll and load the product on the arm 12. The arm 12 then is moved up and down by the up-and-down moving units 7, 10, 11 to a predetermined position and the top of the arm 12 is declined downward to unload the product on the arm.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
