PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance quietness and light blocking properties in a semi-open private-room type partition device for being used as a consultation room and a patient bedroom.;SOLUTION: A semi-open type private room 1 is constituted by enclosing four sides with walls 2, 3 and 4 whose heights prevent the walls 2, 3 and 4 from reaching a ceiling, and a door 6 is provided in at least either of the front wall 2 and the back wall 3. An eaves-like member 26, which overhangs indoors, is mounted at the upper end of the side wall 4, and a lighting unit 27 for irradiating the concave surface of the member 26 with light is mounted on the upper part of the side wall 4.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
