PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for warping longer warp yarns for a pattern, and further to provide a partial warper for the pattern warp yarns.;SOLUTION: Yarns (12) are pulled out by rotary yarn guides (13) from a rotary creel (7) synchronously rotating with the yarn guides (13), and fed on conveying belts (2) traveling in the parallel direction of its axis line, and arranged on the periphery surface of a warping drum (1) held with torsional rigidity. The yarns (12) fed during one rotation of the yarn guides (13) form each a part of warp belts, and the yarns forming the warp belts are similarly displaced in the axis direction. The warp belts are wound on the warping drum (1) so as to form a conical shape in the warping direction by the displacement carried out by each rotation. After the rotary action corresponding to the warp length, a motion in the reverse direction is occurred, and the conveying belts (2) are rapidly displaced by the total of two neighboring warp belt widths at fastest at each secondary reverse movement to allow a momentum in the reverse direction to be precisely set.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
