he invention relates to a street name plate having the representation of the honoured person incorporated thereon. It is characterized in that it contains a sound-generating device, and in that it has the form of a container, the outer surface of which is made of transparent material, and its front part has the representation of the person or subject related to the name of the street. In the interior of the container there is positioned the sound-generating device 7 with or without a radio receiver. Into said device there is the loudspeaker 8, a message storing means, and the lighting body 5 operating with conventional or solar energy, via the solar elements 6 located at the top of the outer part of the device for illuminating the street name plate in order to be visible in the dark.
