Switches (60) are activated by a signal from a security device (50), in response to a call from a computer processor (52) or from handling devices (20,28-38). Based on information in the switches, the switches enables security device access to and from resources and denies the computer processor access to and from resources (14,42). The switches controls requests from the computer processor to the resources or resource ranges depending on the information contained in the switch.
