The ablation platform has a handle which is attached to the lower end to a ring. A fixing unit is provided in the lower end to a convex-shaped platform. A corneal disk is also provided, where a platform is surrounded by a clamping ring. The platform has a convex curvature that is similar to the convex curvature of average human cornea.
