The immobilized bentonic micro algae based waste water cleaning technique comprises cultivation of Chlororarcinopsis sp. Pseudopleurococcus sp. Palmellopsis gelatinosa and Macrochloris sp. and of Phormidium jeukelianumum and Phormidium molle. The calcium alginate based immobilization is followed by incorporation of the capsules in the waste water. EMBODIMENT - After controlled growth of the immobilized material the capsules yield alginate containing algal biomass generated by the removal of nitrogen and phosphorus.
