Novel, partially fluorinated acrylic copolymers of formula: wherein W is -CH₃ or -H, W¹ is -CH₃ or -H, m is an integer between 10 and 2000, n is an integer between 1 and 100, q is an integer between 0 (zero) and 17, t is 0 (zero) or 1, r is 0 (zero) or 1, p is 0 (zero) or 1, s is 0 (zero) or 1, T is an organic spacer constituted by an aliphatic hydrocarbon chain with from 1 to 6 carbon atoms and/or by a cycloaliphatic and/or aromatic structure, X is an ester, urethane, or amido group, L is an organic spacer constituted by an aliphatic hydrocarbon chain with from 1 to 6 carbon atoms and/or by a cycloaliphatic and/or aromatic structure, Y is an ester, urethane, or amido group, Rf is a perfluoroalkyl radical with from 1 to 7 carbon atoms or a perfluoropolyether radical formed by -CF₂-O- and/or -CF₂-CF₂-O-, and/or -CF(CF₃)-CF₂-O- units, as well as a terminal halogen or hydrogen atom, are described.
