METHOD FOR ANALYZING AND PROVIDING OF INTER-RELATIONS BETWEEN PATENTS FROM THE PATENT DATABASE

PURPOSE: A method for analyzing and providing a mutual relation between patents from a patent database is provided to analyze and offer a mutual cited relation of the patents relating to a target patent from the patent database having a field of the backward patent information cited when the patent is applied. CONSTITUTION: One of an application number, a publication number or a registration number of the target patent is inputted. After searching the patent directly citing a patent number of the target patent in a reference cited field, the patent number of directly related patent searched from the field of a preceding patent database is additionally searched. In case of a backward patent analysis, a cited relation diagram expressing the relation between the target patent and the related backward patents is generated and displayed on a part of a display. After performing the searching from the patents related to the target patent by using an applicant, an inventor, the IPC(International Patent Classification), the UPC(US Patent Classification) or a patent year, a searching result is added to the relation diagram.
