PURPOSE: A method for designing an operating system for an automated warehouse is provided to change the operating system without an expert programmer by inputting a changed structure value of a PBS process. CONSTITUTION: A program design process is performed to process a process control program according to a daily production project on basis of kinds and options of vehicles. The process control program is interfaced with an upper processor. The program design process further comprises a basic input/output condition. An environment condition of transportation equipment and tag list information of SCADA(Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition) are added to the basic input/output condition. The environment condition of transportation equipment has an input environment setup variable, an output environment setup variable, and a design environment setup variable.
