SYSTEM FOR INPUTTING AND CORRECTING ANCIENT DOCUMENTS THROUGH GROUPING IMAGES OF CHINESE CHARACTERS

PURPOSE: A system for inputting and correcting an ancient document through the Chinese image grouping is provided to collectively perform an input/correction work in a group unit by grouping the similar Chinese images from a large quantity of the ancient documents. CONSTITUTION: An image preprocessing/Chinese dividing module(11) divides the scanned ancient document into each Chinese character by removing noises and performing the correction for the scanned ancient document and extracting a sector of each Chinese character. An image grouping module(12) based on the handwritten Chinese character recognition recognizes the divided Chinese characters, and groups/displays the same Chinese character. A grouping verification/input module(13) inputs the characters corresponding to the grouped Chinese character to a text file automatically and collectively without key input in case of an automatic input mode, and inputs the characters corresponding to the grouped Chinese character to the text file depending on the key input in the case of a manual input mode.
