SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR COLLECTING AND MANAGING INFORMATION, WHICH IS CONCERNED WITH SEVER RESPONSE AND CLIENTS REQUEST, TO BE USED REPRODUCE COMMUNICATION AND MEASURE OR ANALYZE SERVER PERFORMANCE AND RESPONSE OF SERVER IN CLIENT-SERVER COMPUTING ENVIRONMENT

PURPOSE: A system and a method for collecting and managing information, which is concerned with sever response and client request, to be used for reproduce communication and measure or analyze sever performance in a client-sever computing environment are provided to collect and manage information concerned with request and response about various protocols. CONSTITUTION: A repository(40) is formed as a standard relation type database. A user interface(50) is formed as a standard Web browser. Handler units(21,22) of an agent(20) wait for connection to clients(11,12) at specific ports, and when the handler units(21,22) are connected to the clients(11,12), they receive data from the client(11,12) and transfer corresponding data to pre-set corresponding servers(31,32), and also receive responses from the servers(31,32) and transfer them to corresponding clients(11,12). The information with respect to requests and their responses are transferred to and stored in the repository(40) by using a log manager(23), so that when communication situation is to be reproduced, they can be re-used.
