PURPOSE: A method of supplying copper distribution point information for selecting an ONU(Optical Network Unit) location of a VDSL(Very high data rate Digital Subscriber Line) is provided to supply a distance to a telephone office, the longest subscriber distance, and subscriber/building reception situations according to each copper distribution point by using cable/building/subscriber information, thereby supplying a VDSL service to more subscribers. CONSTITUTION: When an operator requests to inquire about copper distribution point situations(S1), a central controller confirms whether the operator has a manager right(S4). If so, a copper distribution point situation totaling portion selects distribution points by retrieving start point and end point information of each section(S8). The totaling portion stores a path up to subscribers from a telephone office in tree structure, calculates a distance up to the telephone office from each distribution point(S10), and calculates the longest distance up to the subscribers(S12). The totaling portion calculates an insulated conductor operation rate(S14), and stores copper distribution point situation information(S16). A copper distribution point situation display displays copper distribution points, and marks distinguished distances(S18). If the operator requests detailed information on a specific distribution point(S20), subscriber reception situations, main customer information, and the insulated conductor operation rate are displayed(S22,S24).
