METHOD FOR CUSTOMIZING COMPUTER BOOTING PROCEDURE USING MULTIPLE MULTIMEDIA BOOTING PROCEDURES

PURPOSE: A method for customizing a computer booting procedure using multiple multimedia booting procedures is provided to enable a user to set a customized booting procedure conveniently and flexibly, and play a multimedia effect such as an image or graphic, and a sound. CONSTITUTION: Power of a computer is turned on(100). A BIOS(Basic Input/Output System) program reads a specified graphic file of a standard graphic format from a memory unit(102). The specified graphic file is displayed on a screen(104). A partial memory block of a display card BIOS, a hard disk block obtained by portioning the hard disk, a thumb driver, or an optical disk is adopted as the memory unit.
