PURPOSE: A percussion pad effective against noise, a mute percussion instrument, a mute percussion instrument set and an electronic percussion system are provided to obtain satisfactory mute characteristic without sacrificing durability. CONSTITUTION: A percussion pad(2) includes a surface(21a) beaten by a player, an accumulation part(22) fabricated using an elastic material and serially connected to the surface, and a base(25) made of a material having elasticity smaller than the elasticity of the material of the accumulator. The accumulation part is locally is deformed for each beat to accumulate elastic deformation energy and locally vibrated during the elastic deformation energy is emitted. The base is in contact with the accumulator to allow the accumulation part to be locally deformed.
