METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING FIELD EMISSION COLD CATHODE BY PREPARING CARBON NANOTUBE FILMS, PATTERNING CONDUCTIVE BINDER, BONDING CARBON NANOTUBE FILMS, AND TRANSFERRING ALIGNED CARBON NANOTUBE FILMS
PURPOSE: A method is provided to manufacture a field emission cold cathode for uniformly emitting electrons at a low voltage, by using, as an electron source, carbon nanotubes having uniform densities and small outer diameters. CONSTITUTION: A method comprises a step of arranging carbon nanotube films(3) on the surface of a base substrate(4); a step of patterning a conductive binder on the surface of a substrate for electrode; a step of bonding the surfaces of the carbon nanotube films to the surface of the conductive binder; and a step of transferring the arranged carbon nanotube films by removing the base substrate, leaving the parts of the carbon nanotube films bonded to the conductive binder.
