PURPOSE: Provided are a pharmaceutical composition of a sustained-release cefaclor tablet and an improved manufacturing method thereof by direct tableting using a drug-release controlling agent and an excipient. Therefore, the composition is easily manufactured and administered. CONSTITUTION: The sustained-release cefaclor tablet is composed of 30-90 parts by weight of cefaclor, 1-60 parts by weight of drug release controlling agent, and 1-30 parts by weight of pharmaceutically acceptable excipient.
