PURPOSE: A section extension, repair and reinforcement system for reinforcing the bearing strength of reinforced concrete structure by applying prestress on an extended section is provided to improve the efficiency of a structure with the reinforced load bearing strength of a structure by extending the section of a structure such as a reinforced concrete structure, then applying prestress, to cut down the construction expenses by reducing the usage of reinforcing bars and concrete by applying prestress on an extended section, to prevent damage of a structure by excluding the installation of an anchor for the section extension around a pier and to apply for a bridge in a city or the structure with limited lower space by minimizing an extended section. CONSTITUTION: The section extension, repair and reinforcement system for reinforcing the bearing force of a reinforced concrete structure by applying prestress on an extended section comprises the steps of forming fitting grooves(12) on a pier support(4) of a bridge(1) to insert an H-beam(11) and a vertical reinforcing bar(15), installing a flange of an H-beam(11) at regular intervals around a pier(3) to be adjacent to the pier(3) and inserting the lower part of the flange into the fitting groove(12), arranging vertical reinforcing bars(15) between the H-beams(11) and inserting the lower end of the vertical reinforcing bar(15) into the fitting groove(12), installing a horizontal reinforcing bar(14) along the whole length of the pier(3) over the web of the H-beam(11) and the outer side of the pier(3) at regular intervals, fixing a strand guide device(20) longitudinally on the other flange of the H-beam(11), anchoring a strand(13) installed on the pier(3) on the opposite anchorage using a two-way strand fixture and installing a section extension, repair and reinforcement system(10), connecting a strand(13) anchored on a two-way strand fixture to a strand tension hydraulic jack, applying prestress on the strand(13), then installing a form and placing concrete to apply prestress on the extended section of the pier(3).
