SEWAGE TREATMENT METHOD USING ANAEROBIC GRANULAR ACTIVATED SLUDGE AND APPARATUS THEREFOR

PURPOSE: Provided are an apparatus and a method for sewage treatment by anaerobic granular activated sludge which are able to treat organic materials as well as nitrogen and phosphorus components. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus comprises an anaerobic granulation tank(101) having an agitator(104) and granulating suspended microorganisms by hydraulic power of sewage or return water and agitating force of the agitator, a first transportation pipe(106) transporting supernatant excluding the granular sludge from the anaerobic granulation tank, an indirect aeration tank(102) supplying oxygen to the transported supernatant, a second transportation pipe(108) supplying oxygen from the indirect aeration tank to transport dissolved oxygen saturated aqueous solution, an aerobic granulation tank(103) having an agitator(109) and granulating suspended microorganisms by hydraulic power generated by the transported aqueous solution through the second transportation pipe, a third transportation pipe(110) returning the supernatant to the anaerobic granulation tank excluding the sludge granulated by the aerobic granulation tank and a discharge pipe which discharges the supernatant of the treated water which is repeatedly circulated in the anaerobic granulation tank, the first transportation pipe, the indirect aeration tank, the second transportation pipe, the aerobic granulation tank and the third transportation pipe.
