FIELD: equipment for preliminary heating of polymer solutions in solvents and for processing resulting in at least partial removal of volatile products from polymer solutions in solvent before final vacuum processing.;SUBSTANCE: apparatus has vertical vessel incorporating heating chamber. Vessel has inlet channel for supplying of polymer solution in solvent, said channel being arranged adjacent to upper end of heating chamber, and outlet opening used to discharge heated liquefied polymer and arranged in the vicinity of lower end of heating chamber. Heating chamber incorporates at least one heating pipeline system including at least one coiled heating pipe defining structure having main axis oriented transverse to longitudinal axis of heating chamber. Each heating pipe is composed of curved portions connected with one another by straight portions. All portions of heating pipe are arranged in single plane extending in parallel with longitudinal axis of heating chamber. Structure defined by heating pipes has rectangular configuration. As polymer solution flows in solvent toward longitudinal axis of heating chamber in down or up direction, conditions are created for contacting and heat-exchanging of said solution with outer surface of heating pipe.;EFFECT: reduced time of staying of polymer solution in heating chamber, reduced pressure difference, improved uniformity of temperature distribution and flow stability.;31 cl, 5 dwg
