METHOD FOR QUANTITATIVE EVALUATING THE DETRIMENT FOR POPULATION DUE TO POLLUTED ATMOSPHERIC AIR WITH XENOBIOTICS

FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: the present method deals with measuring concentration of substance in surrounding air and its comparison against normative value for settled places. The detriment is measured in man-day of average expectable time for shortened duration per a year to detect according to the dependence: D_pop = [exp•a(C_env-TAC_setl)^B-1]•365•N, where D_pop - the detriment for population, C_env -concentration of substance in surrounding air (mg/cu. M); TAC_steel -threshold concentration of substance in the air of settled places; 365 d - conversion factor for transition from relative detriment to absolute one per a year; N - amount of population, moreover, empirical coefficients a and b should be measured due to calculation method in accordance with up-to-date hygienic criteria of classification of labor conditions.
