The linear unit has a slide (14) to which is connected at least one lubricating device (28) with at least one lubricating element (32) in contact with the movement path of the rotor, and at least one lubricant reservoir (34). At least one functional unit (50) keeps the pressure prevailing in the reservoir at a constant value. The functional unit allows the entry of air from atmosphere into the lubricant reservoir and prevents the escape of lubricant from the reservoir.
