Method for computer-based suggesting of an additional medical examination, e.g. carrying out an additional X-ray examination when a patient has reported to a radiology department for a base X-ray examination. According to the method after the base examination has been carried out, patient data stored in a computer are compared with a data profile. If the patient data match a particular profile, then the computer suggests a particular additional examination to the radiographer. The invention also relates to a corresponding computer program and computer loaded with such a program.
