Ease of motor vehicle engine starting determination method in which the battery voltage, starter motor speed, oil temperature and battery loading prior to starting are used in a calculation step

Method for determining the ease of starting of a drive system with a combustion engine, a starter motor and a battery. According to the method the battery voltage, angular velocity of the starter motor, the oil temperature and electrical load drawn from the battery prior to the start process are determined. The ease of starting is then determined from the parameter measured values. Additionally the battery voltage in parked state can also be used as a calculation parameter.
