The system incorporates a gas acceleration device (2) to generate esp. compressed air. This consists of an acceleration turbine (4), a gas flow guide channel (6), a compressed gas collection tube (8), and a gas re-circulation device (10) to drive the turbine. The turbine has a drive rotor (12) and an outer gas acceleration rotor (16) with acceleration blades (18) having concave surfaces. One guide channel end is connected to a collection tube end, which has a throttle section (24) in this area. A second tube end has a branch section (26) with three feed tube branches (28a,b,c). A branch-off section (30) of the collection tube is connected to an intake (32) of the re-circulation device. This has an outflow end (34) near the turbine drive rotor, and a connection point (36) with ignition device (38) for gas intake. The gas-compressed gas/compressed air mixture is directed to the blades (14) of the drive rotor.
