The method involves generating area checklists in the form of documents in a hierarchical database, the checklists comprising input boxes for inputting data for risk analysis. The data are exported from the hierarchical database to a relational database. A risk analysis is performed for the project, based on the data, by accessing the relational database. Independent claims are included for a computer system for risk analysis, and for a computer program product.
